A Novel Structures Design Approach

Primary structures design development processes are typically multidisciplinary and often complex. Techniques and know- how are needed in structures design, analysis, manufacturing and in the end use of the structure. Figure 1 shows the types of structures ISOGRID-SST™ designs, how they are produced, features they have, applications they are used in, and possible design and manufacturing processes.

PS Associates has a partnering agreement with Structure Technology, http://www.structuretechnology.com/, to provide design and analysis services based on SST results. These services typically 

(a) supplement the Super Traces of classical and empirical methodologies provided by SST, 

(b) support development of new analysis methodologies as needed and 

(c) include point verification, detail design, and full analysis efforts which can include third party finite element methods.
